Job Description:
At Regions, the Business Transformation Consultant oversees the systematic deployment of project activities, tools, and processes throughout the lifecycle of a transformation. Ensures projects remain on time/within budget, certifies project goals and success markers are met. This position collaborates with project teams, functional owners, and project sponsors supporting and executing the full project life cycle to achieve specific business outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Partners with key business, technology and operations stakeholders to successfully implement the bank's transformation goals
  • Utilizes transformation organization's framework to plan, execute and transition delivery of simple - intermediate transformation programs or threads on complex programs
  • Develops and manages overall project plans to ensure transformation status and identify risks to success
  • Supports transformation managers on delivery of enterprise programs
  • Works independently to draft project deliverables for review with Transformation Managers
  • Maintains ownership during all phases of a program to ensure deliverables are executed according to plans
  • Solicits feedback from supervisor/manager prior to finalizing project related deliverables
  • Provides project and program status reporting

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
  • Master's of Business Administration and four (4) years of transformation or project management experience
  • Or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and four (4) years of directly related experience in business transformation at a top tier consulting firm, e.g. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, E&Y
  • Or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and six (6) years of transformation or project management experience

Preferences
  • Experience at a top 5 consulting firm is highly valued and may substitute two of the eight years for traditional transformation experience due to the depth, scale, and strategic impact of work performed in these environments
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • One (1) year of banking or financial services experience

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
