Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain reliable data integration and transformation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ETL development, SQL, data warehousing, data modeling, and cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will work closely with data engineers, analysts, business teams, and application developers to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • Extract data from databases, APIs, files, and other source systems.

  • Transform and cleanse data according to business requirements.

  • Load data into data warehouses, data lakes, and analytical platforms.

  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and data transformations.

  • Design and maintain data mappings, workflows, and data integration processes.

  • Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.

  • Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance and scalability.

  • Troubleshoot failed data loads, pipeline issues, and data-quality problems.

  • Monitor scheduled ETL workflows and resolve production issues.

  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements.

  • Develop and maintain data models and warehouse structures.

  • Integrate data from multiple systems and heterogeneous data sources.

  • Implement error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.

Required Technical Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in ETL Development, Data Engineering, or Data Integration.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.

  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or AWS Glue.

  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns.

  • Experience with data warehousing and dimensional data modeling.

  • Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

  • Experience developing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

  • Experience with data cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Experience with Git or other version-control systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of data security and access-control practices.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
