Job Summary:
Aequor is a company focused on delivering foundational data capabilities, and they are seeking an ETL QA Engineer to work closely with client project leads. The role involves hands-on ETL testing of data warehouses, data lakes, and web services integrations, emphasizing data quality and testing proficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize ETL Requirements & Use cases to create test case documentation
• Take a hands-on approach to create test cases using SQL/ ETL Testing Tools etc. and then document and report results
• Document Release Plans, ETL Flows, Test Strategy documents using Visio, JIRA and Confluence.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• 5+ years of relevant experience in TESTING of ETL / Data Integrations.
• 5+ years of SQL utilizing complex queries - must have.
• 5+ years of experience with MS Visio / MS Word / MS Excel / JIRA & Confluence is a must.
• Good understanding of ETL workflows, Web Services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Preferred:
• Exposure to ETL Testing Tools like Informatica DVO, Query Surge is a big plus.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical industry & Clinical Trials Data is a plus.
• Experience in testing Validated Integrations is as big plus.
