Transfer Driver

Reports to: Production Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Department: Transfer Driver
Location: 1528 Southwest Highway 17,Arcadia, FL 34266
Pay Range: $18.00/hr

Position Summary:

Mint Cannabis seeks dependable and customer-focused Transfer Drivers to join our team. Transfer Drivers are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of cannabis products directly to customers, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and company policies. This role requires a high level of responsibility, customer service, and adherence to strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers state-mandated products to our retail locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Follows routes and schedule
  • Reviews and verifies invoice/pack list to ensure accuracy
  • Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process
  • Communicates with retail departments to confirm delivery details
  • Maintains delivery logs and records

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

Education and Certifications:

  • Valid drivers license
  • Clean driving record (36 months)

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing, sitting, walking.
  • Lifting requirements (e.g., must be able to lift up to 50 pounds).
  • Manual dexterity, repetitive motion, etc.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods and handling packages with care.
