    Primary Responsibilities
    The Yard Driver is responsible for the safe operation of commercial vehicles, spotting trailers in the yard, the unloading of trailers, and performing yard checks and possible shuttles. This work will be primarily outdoors and will be exposed to the elements.
    Schedule Monday - Saturday 5pm - 130am
    Essential Functions
    • Operate Tractor-Trailer and/or straight truck in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Operate a Yard Truck in a safe and efficient manner.
    • Other duties and special projects as requested.
    • Maintain safe work practices.
    • Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

    Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • 1 years prior experience of driving experience
    • Certified Driver's License (CDL) Class A.

    Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:
    • Must be highly motivated self-starter and be able to work independently.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Need to be able to adapt to changing conditions.
    • Have ability to listen to and follow directions.
    • Must be able to follow established procedures.
    • Must have a good attendance and tardy record.
    • Must be able to communicate in English both written and orally.
    • Must have a valid CDL license and good driving record.
    • Must have the ability to work in all types of outside weather conditions

    Physical Requirements:
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to cooler and freezer temperatures. The associate is required to frequently sit, stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
