Job description

A global and top 200 Am Law firm seeks an associate to join their M&A Practice Group in their Austin office.


The ideal candidate must have 1-3 years of relevant experience, particularly in one or more of the areas of public and private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity buyouts, asset sales, tender and exchange offers, and other strategic transactions. Preferred candidates would have experience as a junior associate on M&A transactions, with experience drafting ancillary transaction agreements, conducting due diligence and managing the due diligence process, and coordinating internal and client teams in all stages of a strategic transaction. Superior academic credentials and/or law firm experience and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
