This position is focused exclusively on the sale, structured finance, and equity sourcing of commercial real estate transactions within the top ranked National Medical Properties Capital Markets team.Capital Markets Associates have the opportunity tobe involved in every stage of a transaction, including underwriting, market research,property tours,and preparationof offering memorandums, marketing, and term sheet negotiation, closing and client meetings / events.Will work in a high-energy, team-focused environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare investmentsales, financing, and equityadvisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions, including market research, financial modeling, composition of executive summaries and investment highlights.
  • Responsible for complex financial modeling through the use of Microsoft Excel and Argus Enterprise of commercial real estate transactions and utilize market andJLLdata / comps to correctly underwrite a transaction.
  • Manage the due diligence process and be the driving force in working through the marketing and closing processes for each transaction and be in constant communication with the Producer(s), the market, and the Client. Use this information from the marketing process to assist clients in making decisions related to their business plan and capital structure.
  • Work alongside Producer(s) in deliberating thoughtful strategies for client's real estate portfolios.
  • Must be technically proficient in use of databases and be able to effectively identify what data from this systemwillbe useful to determine trends and for preparation for pitches and meetings.
  • Must understand and review real estate documents (leases, loan documents, historical operating statements, budgets, appraisals, etc.) to determine in-place operating performance and if any issues exist and determine what could be a concern.
  • Develop and recommend sale, financing, and equity alternatives to present to the Producer(s).
  • Beginto build client network within the industry through meetings, events and involvement in real estate trade organizations.
  • Participate in weekly office meetings with Producer(s) to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions and review new client leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

  • 2-6 years of experiencein a financial analysis environment;mortgage orcommercial real estate industry preferred.
  • Argus experience required
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing, and communication skills; able to interface with top level executives.
  • Strong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively.
  • Strong research, analytical, andproblem-solvingskills.Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Estimated compensation for this position:

80,000.00 - 100,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
