Position Summary
As a Senior Associate on the TAS team, you will be primarily responsible for supporting and leading the preparation of Quality of Earnings reports for M&A transactions. This includes analyzing financial data, identifying key risks and adjustments, and helping clients understand normalized earnings and cash flow. You’ll work closely with managers, directors, and partners, and will have direct interaction with clients, target companies, and investors.
The ideal candidates will have the following qualities:
  • High integrity
  • Two to five years of experience in public accounting, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or corporate finance
  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and key accounting concepts.
  • Prior experience preparing or supporting Quality of Earnings reports is strongly preferred
  • Ability to establish great working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and work under tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team of professionals at all levels
  • Pursuing CPA or currently has CPA license

Professional responsibilities will include tasks such as the following:
  • Lead and support the preparation of Quality of Earnings (QoE) reports, including adjustments to EBITDA, revenue trends, working capital, and other key deal metrics.
  • Analyze historical and projected financial information to assess underlying earnings power and deal-related risks.
  • Conduct client and target interviews to gather relevant data and validate findings.
  • Develop financial exhibits and write clear, concise, and client-ready reports.
  • Present findings to clients and help them evaluate potential deal implications.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and deliverables on concurrent projects.
  • Mentor and review work of junior team members.
  • Support business development efforts including proposals, scoping discussions, and participation in pitch meetings as needed.
