ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

This position plays a key role in ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth daily operations at our prestigious Athletic Club.  This role supervises front-line hospitality staff, upholds service standards, and supports the Athletic Club leadership team with daily operational needs.  

  • Supervise, schedule, train, and motivate hospitality team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for club members and guests, promptly resolving inquiries, complaints, and service issues.
  • Uphold and enforce high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation throughout the Athletic Club’s spaces.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to implement club policies, processes, and service protocols.
  • Assist in onboarding and continuous training for hospitality staff, ensuring consistency in service delivery.
  • Monitor daily activities, anticipate guest needs, and respond proactively to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Oversee inventory, supplies, and equipment related to hospitality services; submit requests for replenishment as needed.
  • Support special events or club programs, working collaboratively with other resort departments.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and club regulations at all times.
  • Prepare reports and communicate operational feedback to management.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Club Director

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in hospitality management or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or a supervisory role required (country club or resort experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with POS or club management software a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: 

Must possess customer service skills and strong oral communication skills. Competency in dealing with Club Members and fellow employees under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy.  Must possess the ability to work effectively under time deadlines.
