As a Manager, Technical Training, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving learning programs that enable Business Consultants, Technical and Training Representatives, Field Trainers, Domestic Distributors, International Partners, and Home Office Staff to successfully sell, install, support, and train on Hunter Engineering Company equipment solutions. This role ensures training content aligns with business objectives, product strategy, and field performance needs while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality Analysis, and Product Management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve global learning programs that enable Sales, Service, Distributors, International Partners, and National Accounts to perform as consultative business advisors and technical experts.
  • Design and deliver engaging technical training for internal and partner Service Representatives, including installation, diagnostics, maintenance, repair, calibration, and customer instruction, with consistent standards across regions.
  • Create scalable training content, curricula, and onboarding programs, including training for new Hunter Technical & Training Representatives and ongoing service refresher courses.
  • Support new product launches by developing aligned curricula, evaluating service documentation, and ensuring readiness for field and customer-facing teams.
  • Manage and optimize the Learning Management System (LMS), including course structure, certifications, tracking, reporting, and continuous content updates.
  • Analyze post-training feedback, LMS data, and field performance insights to drive continuous improvements in content quality, delivery effectiveness, and training satisfaction scores, while supporting customized customer visits and global training initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Quality Analysis, and Product Management to keep the training organization informed of design changes, manufacturing processes, quality insights, and product roadmaps.
  • Assist in planning and administering global sales and service meetings, including training content, agendas, and supporting materials.
  • Develop and deliver targeted training for Business Consultants focused on needs-based consultative selling, enabling them to uncover customer challenges, align solutions to operational goals, and articulate value through insight-driven conversations.
  • Develop and deliver tailored agendas while hosting red-carpet guests through Hunter headquarters, providing informative product demonstrations and showcasing Hunter culture, values, and commitment to customer success.
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

  • Associate’s degree in automotive technology, automotive maintenance, or similar area preferred; high school diploma required
  • 3+ years of experience in training, adult learning, or blended learning
  • Strong background in technical learning and development within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
  • Skilled in delivering scalable, customer-focused training solutions for channel partners and global audiences, translating complex technical content into practical learning experiences, and applying adult learning and blended learning principles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally, supporting distributor networks, building certification programs, and using data and learner feedback to drive continuous improvement is essential, along with strong communication and stakeholder influence skills across diverse contexts.
  • Computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Desktop Publishing, and Database preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • ASE certification desired.
