Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. Tester Operator: Operates, tests, and monitors assigned equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of products.
1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:40PM, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $15.66
Responsibilities
  • Perform various tests, analyze results, and identify any defects or issues.
  • Observes and conducts operation of equipment and documents maintenance needs.
  • Troubleshoots control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
  • Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
  • Verifies equipment data for reporting.
  • Ability to interpret, follow and execute testing procedures accurately.
  • May communicate with equipment technicians relating to more-complex issues.
  • Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
  • Data entry to CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
  • Maintain and clean, organized workstation.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on capability to troubleshoot technical problems as necessary.
  • Ability to gather, document, and input data.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic computer ability.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Warehouse environment
  • The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
  • The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary
  • The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
