Job description

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking full-time musculoskeletal radiologists for the clinical practice or clinician-educator tracks.

Position Summary:

  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Services provided to Vanderbilt University Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center, and Vanderbilt Health outpatient centers
  • VUMC has a busy and growing Orthopedic Surgery practice including:
    • Level 1 trauma center, tertiary referral center
    • NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center and NCCN Member Center
  • Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
  • Daily clinical work includes interpretation of diagnostic studies and image guided intervention
  • Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests
  • Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience

Position Requirements:

  • Fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology
  • Hold an MD or equivalent degree
  • ABR eligible/certified
  • Eligible for TN license
  • Comfort/willingness to perform routine fluoroscopy/CT/US guided procedures
  • Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and education of trainees and medical students
