Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager Trainee based in Pompano Beach, FL. The Manager Trainee participates in a structured development program designed to prepare high-potential employees for future management roles within the organization. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure, the Manager Trainee develops leadership, operational, customer service, financial, and people management skills necessary to successfully lead a team, department, or branch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn company operations, policies, procedures, and organizational objectives.
- Complete assigned training modules and development activities.
- Rotate through various departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of business functions.
- Assist managers with daily operations, workforce planning, and performance management.
- Participate in employee coaching, training, and engagement initiatives.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting activities.
- Support customer service initiatives and help resolve customer concerns.
- Develop leadership skills through project management and special assignments.
- Analyze business metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Demonstrate professionalism and serve as a role model for company values and culture.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of operations, customer service, or related business experience preferred
- Must reside in or near the Pompano Beach, Florida area
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP, CRM, or business management systems is a plus
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative
- Knowledge of the elevator, escalator, construction, manufacturing, or service industry (preferred)
