Job Duties
  • Design, build, test, and maintain backend RESTful API services using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Deliver secure, scalable platform capabilities hosted in AWS and manage the lifecycle from design through deployment and operations.
  • Analyze complex application and technical problems, identify root causes, and implement high‑quality solutions.
  • Develop business‑value features with a focus on performance, reliability, maintainability, and observability.
  • Follow established engineering standards for source control, testing, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD automation.
  • Use AI‑assisted development tools and software engineering agents to accelerate implementation, testing, debugging, refactoring, and documentation, while validating outputs through code review, automated tests, and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver incremental value to customers.
  • Contribute to front‑end or Python‑related tasks when needed, while focusing primarily on Java/Spring Boot backend microservice development.
  • Produce structured application and interface code, technical documentation, and operational runbooks in a fast‑moving environment.
What You Will Have
  • Knowledge of software development tools and activities; ability to produce products or systems in line with product requirements.
  • Knowledge of software product design; ability to convert market requirements into design and technical approaches.
  • Knowledge of software integration processes and functions; ability to design, develop, and maintain interfaces and linkages to alternative platforms.
  • Knowledge of decision‑making processes and tools; ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to transmit, receive, and interpret ideas accurately.
Top Candidates Will Have
  • Strong backend engineering capability with Java 17+ and Spring Boot to design and deliver RESTful APIs using microservices principles.
  • Proven ability to build secure, scalable platform services in a cloud environment such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience deploying backend services in cloud‑native environments.
  • Knowledge of AI‑assisted and agentic software development workflows.
  • Ability to review, validate, test, and refine AI‑generated code and pull requests for correctness, maintainability, performance, security, and alignment with established engineering standards.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI usage and secure coding practices in AI‑assisted development.
Nice to Have
  • Experience building production AI agents using Python.
  • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
  • Experience integrating LLMs with external tools, APIs, databases, and retrieval systems.
  • Experience designing evaluations, guardrails, and monitoring for agent reliability.
  • Experience with multi‑agent workflow design and memory/context management.
  • Prompt optimization, latency reduction, and cost control.
  • MLOps or model deployment experience.

  • Visa sponsorship is NOT available.
  • Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $158,480.00 (subject to multiple individualized factors).
