Job description

Exceptional Healthcare Community Hospital is seeking an experienced and certified Medical Laboratory Tech/Scientist to join its team at Eloy facility.  
This is a FULL-TIME (36hr/week) NIGHT Shift position. Set Schedule
Description:  
  • Areas of testing include hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, and point of care
  • Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
  • Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely
  • Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements: 
  • Must have at least an associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science. 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • ASCP certified or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience
  • Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards
  • Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards
