Job Title: Release Train Engineer (RTE)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) with 10+ years of IT experience to lead and manage Agile Release Trains (ART) in a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating program-level processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring seamless automated release management across multiple teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary facilitator and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring alignment with SAFe principles.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions.
  • Drive end-to-end automated release management processes to ensure smooth, predictable, and high-quality deployments.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple Agile teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, DevOps, and Engineering teams to ensure delivery alignment.
  • Monitor program-level metrics, track progress, and report status to senior leadership.
  • Identify and remove systemic impediments impacting delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums, ART sync meetings, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Promote DevOps practices, CI/CD integration, and automation in release processes.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise governance, quality, and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualification
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong Agile background.
  • Proven experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) in SAFe environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Automated Release Management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise Agile programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • SAFe RTE certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
