Position Title:ย Staff Registered Nurseย ย 

Summary:ย Sligo Creek Healthcare is looking for a registered nurse to fill a role in a skilled nursing facility setting. Our ideal candidate is organized, interested in management positions, and committed to maintaining high standards. Duties:ย ย 

  • Observe and monitor residentsโ€™ health and assess their needs to provide quality care.

  • Work with physicians to create individual care plans and assist them during required operations or procedures.

  • Maintain complete healthcare records and reports.

  • Supervise, manage, and train LPNs and GNAs on staff.

  • Perform routine procedures as needed, including administering medication and injections, and provide emergency medical care when necessary.

  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness within the facility.

Requirements:ย ย 

  • Current state nursing licensureย ย 

  • BLS/CPR certificationย ย 

  • In-depth knowledge of nursing care methods and health and safety guidelinesย ย 

  • Responsible and compassionate with outstanding organizational and communication skillsย ย 

  • Experience supervising GNAs and LPN's in a nursing home setting is preferable, but not required

Preferred Skills:ย Problem-solving skills, interest in aย futureย management role, experience with Point, Click, Care platform.ย ย
