Job description

Join our growing Carbel X Arvato Family!  

Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehousing tasks that can include receiving, storing, counting, picking, packaging, and distributing material, throughout the warehouse facility and to carriers. This will also include to maintain established inventory standard levels and ensure tasks are fulfilled effectively and accurately.  

YOUR TASKS 

•    Assemble custom kits and pick and pack orders. 
•    Evaluate finished products to ensure they meet customer quality standards. 
•    Make informed decisions to prioritize tasks and meet shipment deadlines. 

 •    Maintain a neat and orderly workspace. 
•    Use SAP/ERP for data entry and tracking. 
•    Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. 
•    Engage in repetitive hand assembly/semi-automated operations. 
•    Ensure accuracy in counting and maintain a quality conscience. 
•    Transport component materials and finished goods between departments and storage locations. 
•    Assist in managing RF queue for efficient productivity. 
•    Achieve daily picking demands and ensure pick waves are in priority sequence. 
•    Validate and proof all labels and packing slips before picking.  
•    Utilize RF scan gun to track items throughout the warehouse. 
•    Communicate throughout the day with the team lead. 
•    Follow company safety and hygiene regulations and maintain the 5s Program guidelines. 

YOUR PROFILE  

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent   

  • Requires ability to use a keyboard, monitor, RF scanner and calculator. 

  • Strong verbal communication skills. 

  • Flexibility is a must: Must be able to work overtime, holidays, weekends, different shifts, and different areas of the warehouse   

  • Able to stand/walk for long periods of time  

  • Requires ability to stand/reach/stoop/bend  

  • Stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk majority of your shift  

  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment  

  • Maximum unassisted lift up to 50 lbs., average lift, less than 10 lbs.; assisted lift up to 80 lbs.
