❄️ NOW HIRING: Cold Storage Warehouse Loaders – Night Shift

Location: Portland Metro Area
Pay: $23/hr to Start | $25/hr after 90 days
Openings: 2–3

EXPERIENCED COLD STORAGE WORKERS NEEDED!

We are hiring 2–3 Warehouse Loaders for a cold storage/refrigerated warehouse. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable candidates who are comfortable working in a cold environment and performing physically demanding warehouse work.

Previous cold storage/refrigerated warehouse experience is REQUIRED.

Schedule

Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday
Start Time: Approximately 5:00–6:00 PM until finish

Employees typically work longer shifts and 4 days per week. Days off generally include Friday and Saturday plus one additional weekday, but the schedule and days off may change based on business needs.

⚠️ Attendance is extremely important. Candidates MUST be available and committed to working Sundays.

Pay

  • $23.00/hour to start after 90 days $25 an hour


Job Duties

  • Load and stage products in a cold storage environment
  • Pick, stage, consolidate, and load orders
  • Perform ground-level order picking
  • Consolidate pallets efficiently
  • Ensure proper weight distribution when building pallets
  • Operate a riding pallet jack
  • Operate a sit-down forklift
  • Cross-train in picking, staging, and loading
  • Maintain accurate and efficient order fulfillment
  • Lift and move products weighing 50–80 lbs.
  • Work toward a productivity goal of approximately 140 cases per hour


Requirements

  • Previous cold storage/refrigerated warehouse experience REQUIRED
  • Warehouse or distribution experience
  • Experience with pallet loading and weight distribution
  • Riding pallet jack experience
  • Sit-down forklift experience
  • Picking/order selection experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
  • Must be flexible and willing to perform multiple warehouse functions
  • Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
  • Must have excellent attendance
  • Must be available to work Sundays
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Ability to use picking systems in English or Spanish

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced cold-storage warehouse. You should be willing to learn multiple areas of the operation and help wherever needed.

This is NOT a good fit for candidates without previous cold-storage experience.

Interview Information

Interviews are conducted by the Operations Manager.

Interview availability: 6:00 PM or later only.

Spanish/English bilingual management is available, but candidates must be able to communicate in English.
