Job Title: Warehouse WorkerPosition Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and material handling activities. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, scanning, loading, unloading, and transporting products while ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience, forklift operation skills, and a strong commitment to quality, productivity, and workplace safety.


Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Picking & Fulfillment
  • Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.
  • Locate products in designated warehouse storage locations.
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, and order specifications.
  • Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies before shipment.
  • Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Meet daily productivity and order fulfillment goals.
Packing & Shipping
  • Pack products securely to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Stage, organize, and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Wrap, secure, and palletize products according to shipping requirements.
  • Seal, label, and weigh packages accurately.
  • Ensure shipping labels and documentation are completed correctly.

Receiving Operations
  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items against purchase orders.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or incorrect items.
  • Record and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Label and store received inventory properly.
  • Ensure efficient material flow throughout the warehouse.
Warehouse Organization
  • Maintain clear aisles, designated storage locations, and organized work areas.
  • Arrange materials according to warehouse layout and storage procedures.
  • Scan, label, and identify inventory accurately.
  • Support warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness initiatives.
  • Assist with warehouse reorganization projects when needed.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain compliance with company safety standards.
  • Report accidents, near misses, safety concerns, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Participate in safety training and warehouse meetings.
Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and production teams.
  • Assist coworkers in meeting departmental goals.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Required QualificationsExperience
  • Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
