Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and lightly experienced Trench Slide Rail Installer to join our trench and shoring rental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for learning the installation, maintenance, and removal of trench slide rail systems used in excavation projects. This position requires a thorough understanding of safety protocols, technical expertise, and the ability to work efficiently in various site conditions.
What you will do...
  • Install trench slide rail systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety regulations.
  • Operate and maintain relevant equipment and tools required for the installation process.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate installation procedures and identify potential hazards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction personnel to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project timelines.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of trench slide rail systems to ensure structural integrity and safety.
  • Assist in the removal and disassembly of trench slide rail systems upon project completion.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on site.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in construction-related fields is preferred.
  • Experience with trench safety and shoring equipment preferred
  • Some experience in installing trench slide rail systems or similar excavation support systems.
  • Valid driver's license

Skills
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction and excavation.
  • Ability to learn to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering blueprints.
  • Proficiency in operating construction equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
