Job description

Job Opportunity: Radiologists for Emergency/Overnight Radiology Service

Our organization is seeking to add three radiologists to our growing Emergency/Overnight Radiology team. You will be part of a dedicated group of nine full-time equivalents (FTEs) as we expand to twelve FTEs. Our facilities feature advanced residency and fellowship programs, along with cutting-edge radiography, ultrasound, and CT technology. Ideal candidates will possess a solid foundation in general radiology, particularly in neuroradiology and body imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work a schedule averaging one week on followed by two weeks off, with significant flexibility to arrange remote shifts that suit your preferences.
  • Shifts are divided among six hospitals within our health system, with four attending radiologists on duty each evening.
  • Collaborate with excellent residents at all locations who handle the majority of preliminary studies.
  • Interpret CT, X-ray, and ultrasound images; no Level 1 trauma, mammography, nuclear medicine, or procedures involved.
  • Occasional reviews of MRI scans for urgent findings, though these do not require formal sign-off.
  • Utilize a unified PACS system across all sites, supported by robust IT assistance.
  • Explore numerous optional moonlighting opportunities.
  • Engage with colleagues from various specialties as a vital part of a premier healthcare system.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $460,000 and $510,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.
