Job description

CDR ProSource is hiring a Machine Operator – Laser Department for a manufacturing facility in Three Rivers, MI. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and enjoys a 4-day workweek with Fridays off.

Pay: $18.00/hour
Location: Three Rivers, MI
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: Four 10-hour shifts | Fridays Off

Responsibilities
  • Use a computer to locate machine programs and make adjustments as needed to produce quality parts.
  • Load sheets of metal onto the laser machine using appropriate lifting equipment.
  • Remove finished parts from processed metal sheets.
  • Inspect completed parts for quality and accuracy.
  • Sand or grind parts as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Remove and properly dispose of remaining metal skeleton/material.
  • Use hand and power tools, including grinders and sanders.
  • Follow all established safety and production procedures.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to push, pull, and handle materials throughout the shift.
  • Frequent use of hands and hand tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
