Marina Plumbing Technician Trainee

What You'll Do

As a Marine Plumbing Technician Trainee, you'll work alongside experienced technicians to learn every aspect of marina plumbing, including:

• Potable water systems
• Fire suppression and standpipe systems
• Sewer collection systems
• HDPE fusion and installation
• Reading construction plans and layouts
• Installation of specialized dock plumbing infrastructure
• Safe work practices on floating docks and over-water construction

Every project is different. Every marina presents unique challenges. You'll gain experience that very few plumbers ever have.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2 years Minimum plumbing or construction experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license.
• Clean driving record for the past three years.
• Able to swim.
• Comfortable working on and around water.
• Willing to travel approximately 25% of the time, including overnight travel throughout Florida.
• Able to lift 75 pounds and perform physical work outdoors.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Drug-free workplace.
• No smoking or vaping while working or in company vehicles.
