At CHE Behavioral, we are committed to providing exceptional mental health services to our patients, and we are seeking a talented and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality behavioral health services. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will enable you to develop and implement effective treatment plans, conduct individual and group therapy sessions, and provide family therapy to promote healing and well-being.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with mental health disorders
  • Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in marriage and family therapy

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
  • Licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work effectively with patients and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
