Job description

Join a dynamic pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician supporting both retail and mail order operations. This contract opportunity in Roanoke, VA offers the chance to apply your Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) skills in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate prescription processing and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately preparing and dispensing medications for retail and mail order prescriptions
  • Managing prescription inventory and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Assisting pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations and customer consultations
  • Processing insurance claims and resolving billing issues
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to pharmacy protocols
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required
