Job description

JOB SUMMARY

To perform those processes involved in the receipt and distribution of prescription drugs orders, using clinical skills and knowledge to assure quality pharmaceutical care.  To ensure that the drug is dispensed and delivered safely and accurately as prescribed.  To supervise any delegated act performed by pharmacy technicians or pharmacy technician trainees.  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

Minimum Work Experience

  • No previous work experience

Required Licenses/Certifications

  • Active license as registered pharmacist in the state of Texas

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively direct and/or supervise personnel as appropriate
  • Ability to work effectively with community
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times
