Experience Level: Entry-level. No prior appliance repair experience required. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn are expected.
About Us We're a small team providing the Hays County area with honest, reliable appliance repairs. With our new owner we've grown steadily by focusing on doing the job right, and we're continuing to build.

The Role You'll start as a Trainee Appliance Repair Technician for the first 4-6 months.
During this time, you'll ride along with an experienced technician, learning hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and customer communication. You won't be rushed into working alone. The goal is to build real skill and confidence.
As you progress, you'll transition into running your own service calls independently.
What You'll Learn and Do- Ride along and assist on daily service calls

- Support with disassembly, part replacement, and reassembly
- Learn how to communicate with customers professionally
- Use mobile software for job notes and documentation
- Help keep the work van organized and stocked
- Progress toward handling your own calls

What We're Looking For This role is for someone who wants to learn a trade and grow with a company.
You should:
- Be dependable and show up on time
- Be willing to learn and take direction
- Have basic mechanical aptitude
- Be comfortable working with tools
- Communicate clearly and respectfully
- Be open to feedback and improvement
This is not a good fit if you are looking for a short-term or low-effort job.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work in tight spaces and different environments
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compensation and Growth Trainee pay: $17-$22.50/hour based on experience
After training (typically 4-6 months):
$25/hour once you are running calls independently
Earning potential of $60K-$100K annually as you grow
What You Can Expect- Paid training and EPA certification support
- Pay increases as your skills improve

- Local routes, where possible, to reduce travel time

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.50 per hour
As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work.
You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
