Position Summary: C.N.A. / Driver

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) / Driver to join our compassionate team. This dual-role position is essential in ensuring residents receive both excellent personal care and safe, timely transportation to medical appointments, outings, and events.

Our ideal candidate is patient, reliable, safety-focused, and truly passionate about enhancing the lives of others.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide safe, on-time transportation for residents to and from scheduled appointments, outings, and special events.

  • Assist residents during transport, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.

  • Perform daily checks and routine maintenance of the transport vehicle, including interior/exterior cleanliness and fluid levels.

  • Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance and transport logs.

  • Deliver compassionate, hands-on care including assistance with:

    • Bathing, dressing, grooming

    • Dining and toileting

    • Mobility and positioning

  • Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for residents.

  • Support infection control practices and overall safety protocols.

Requirements:
  • Active C.N.A. certification in the state of Illinois

  • Must be at least 21 years of age

  • At least 1 year of experience driving a 16-passenger van

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid Illinois driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to remain calm and proactive in a fast-paced or emergency situation
