Job description

Description

The Technician Trainee 2 will support various tasks, including maintaining cleanliness, organizing materials, assisting technicians, and helping the shop team meet contaminations control guidelines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be eager to learn, and work well in a team-oriented environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift to move attachments, components, parts, throughout the shop operation.
  • Perform daily inspections on area forklifts.
  • Ensure bays are clean and prepped for incoming machines as needed.
  • Perform weekly cleaning assignments which include running shop equipment, taking out trash, cleaning steam bay and lube stations.
  • Assist technicians in various duties.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.

Qualifications

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work safety and work around moving equipment and vehicles.
  • Must be able to operate forklift and overhead cranes.
  • Must be able to work 8+ hours per day.
  • Must be a self-starter and have the ability to prioritize tasks as necessary.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and follow direction.
