Our client is a manufacturer of plastic products using specialized injection, extrusion and blow molding processes to provide innovative, high-quality products with high volumes of production.
Established for more than a century, our client's products are produced and sold in 23 countries. The plant is looking for qualified people to add to their team!
Job Description
This position reports to the Shift Supervisor, and includes responsibilities in production, quality, safety, cost, cleaning, communication, and a few administrative tasks.
More precisely:
Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Set up the auxiliary equipment (robots, combo, hooking, conveyors, etc.);
  • Start machines in accordance with the procedures, while making necessary adjustments (color, mold types, etc.);
  • Troubleshoot when non-conformances of production occur;
  • Oversee that machines reach the maximum capability, at the highest production standards, and propose alternatives methods for production efficiency;
  • Follow all safety procedures in operating all equipment;
  • Clean the work area and pick up personal tools;
  • Fill out the required forms for repairs, set-up checklist, and/or maintenance work orders;
  • Carry out other related tasks.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience in a factory setting;
  • Skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, PLC's and robotics;
  • Experience in assembly lines, process and mold setting is a valuable asset;
