Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nights Preferred (ICU, Med/Surg, or Float Pool)
Location: Owosso, MI

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic team in one of the following areas: ICU, Med/Surg, or Float Pool. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to delivering top-tier care. Night shifts are preferred.
Under the guidance of the unit Supervisor/Manager, you'll provide patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform timely and accurate physical, psychological, and social assessments of patients upon admission.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans within 24 hours of admission.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and care procedures, ensuring clear understanding.
  • Collaborate closely with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support holistic and coordinated care.
  • Adapt quickly in various units (ICU, Med/Surg, or Float Pool) while maintaining consistent quality of care.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program or expected graduation within four months of hire.
  • Active RN license in the State of Michigan, or successful NCLEX completion within six months of graduation.
  • Prior experience in acute care or related clinical settings preferred, but not required.
  • Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Physical & Technical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Capacity to lift and move patients and medical equipment as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel independently between facilities if required.
  • Competency in using EMR systems, phones, and computers in a clinical environment.
