We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support R&D and manufacturing activities for advanced electromechanical medical systems used in cancer treatment. This is a hands-on, on-site role based in Texas, contributing to sustaining engineering, product enhancements, and new product development within a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform end-to-end electrical design, including component selection, schematic design, circuit simulation, prototype evaluation, and unit/system-level testing.
  • Develop and execute test engineering and test development activities using standard and custom electrical test equipment.
  • Support product lifecycle activities: system integration testing, lifecycle testing, and engineering change orders (ECOs) in SAP for hardware, firmware, and embedded systems.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and field issues using root cause analysis, driving quality and reliability improvements.
  • Create and maintain compliant engineering documentation and technical product files.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and service teams, including NPI support with contract manufacturers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, custom electrical assembly design, and manufacturing support.
  • Strong expertise in schematic design, engineering analysis, DFM/DFA, and reliability engineering.
  • Proficiency with electronic assembly fabrication processes and regulated product development.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills; self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Medical device experience preferred but not required.
