Outside Sales – Waterworks / Underground Utilities

San Antonio, TX | Regional Travel | Confidential Client


We're working with a growing organization in the waterworks and underground utilities space seeking a Sales Rep to build relationships and drive business across the San Antonio market.


This is a field-facing role focused on working directly with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders on the sale of pipe, valves, fittings, hydrants, and related underground utility products. It's a strong fit for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and being close to the job site.


Position Overview The Sales Rep will manage the full project lifecycle — from early opportunity identification through quoting and project completion — while serving as a trusted resource for customers and growing a territory over time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with contractors, municipalities, and project stakeholders
  • Sell and support waterworks products including pipe, valves, fittings, hydrants, and underground utility materials
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including quoting, order follow-up, and project support
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory
  • Track opportunities and maintain pipeline visibility


Qualifications

  • Experience in waterworks, utility, or construction-related sales preferred
  • Comfortable managing a territory and working in a field-based, relationship-driven role
  • Ideally comes with an existing book of business, though the company is open to trainees and entry-level candidates with the right drive
