Job description

Crude Oil Driver

The Crude Oil Driver will perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in pre-trip preparations of vehicle

• Ensure proper equipment is loaded on vehicle prior to leaving the yard

• Fill out Log Book

• Coordinate with dispatch office for job assignments, maps, special instructions, etc…

• Drive crude truck

• Conduct JSA before entering job site and plan entry route

• Operate pump

• Prepare post trip for any damaged equipment

• Load hoses on and off of truck

• Complete logs, Job Safety Analysis, vehicle inspection reports, way bills, BBS cards, fuel reports

• Employees in this position are considered confidential, maintaining the utmost confidentiality in dealing with business information

• Report all incidents or unsafe actions and/or worksites to supervisors

• Must complete jobs in order and notify supervisor or dispatcher of any uncompleted jobs
