Job Summary:
MDAEdge is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support their cybersecurity program. This role focuses on monitoring threats, investigating security incidents, and conducting forensic analysis to strengthen the company's overall security posture.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and analyze incoming cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
• Conduct forensic investigations, collect advanced data, and support eDiscovery requests.
• Assist Legal, HR, and other teams with security-related investigations while maintaining evidence integrity.
• Use tools such as Magnet Forensics Axiom Cyber, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, and MITRE Telecommunication&CK framework.
• Document findings, prepare incident reports, and communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support tabletop exercises to test and improve incident response processes.
• Review vulnerability scans and penetration test results, and recommend improvements.
• Develop and update security policies, procedures, and awareness training.
• Collaborate with IT teams to protect data and ensure compliance with security standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, audit, assessment, engineering, or architecture.
