Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. OT Network Engineer with over 10 years of experience to join our dynamic System Solution team. This position is ideal for a candidate  a hands-on network professional with strong OT and enterprise networking experience, proven ability to work in manufacturing environments, and a collaborative approach to supporting both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for onsite serves as a key technical resource and liaison between IT and plant engineering to ensure OT network solutions are delivered securely, efficiently, and with zero unplanned downtime.

  • Serve as the onsite network engineer for OT-related initiatives
  • Lead the deployment and adoption of OT network infrastructure.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure, resilient network architectures for industrial and manufacturing environments.
  • Ensure OT cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into network solutions, including segmentation, IDMZ, and access control practices.
  • Provide escalation support for network incidents and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and vendors as needed.
  • Assist with network standards, implementation practices, and documentation for OT environments.
  • Mentor and train local IT support teams and operational staff on OT network fundamentals and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to project planning, cutovers, maintenance activities, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and production requirements into effective network solutions.

Technology Scope

Candidates should have experience with a broad mix of enterprise and OT networking technologies, including:

Minimum qualification:

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field; and/or commensurate work experience
  • 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience.
  • Experience supporting OT, industrial, or manufacturing network environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and secure network design.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT and plant teams.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex network issues in high-availability environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting deployments, maintenance windows, cutovers, and operational support activities.
  • Ability to train and mentor support personnel and operational teams.
  • Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive tasks through completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor environments.
  • Familiarity with OT cybersecurity concepts, IDMZ, and segmentation strategies.
