CNC Lathe Operator


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathe machines to machine blanks, forgings, castings, and bar stock according to precise technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for quality, a commitment to safety, and the ability to interpret blueprints effectively.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Efficiently operate CNC lathe machines to process blanks, forgings, castings, and bar stock.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret blueprints, job orders, and tooling instructions to ensure precise production.
  • Quality Inspection: Inspect first-run pieces and completed parts to verify strict conformance to specifications using standard measuring instruments.
  • Tooling & Maintenance: Monitor tool wear, replace worn cutting tools as needed, and perform basic machine maintenance to ensure optimal runtime.
  • Material Handling: Safely transport finished parts and materials to their designated staging or production areas.
  • Compliance & Safety: Carry out all daily job tasks in strict accordance with company safety standards and ISO compliance requirements.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications & Key Skills
