Responsibilities
  • Be the lead structural expert through major projects
  • Designing, assessing, and verifying new and existing structures, with proficiencies in concrete and steel
  • Measure loads and pressures
  • Conduct complex computations caused by environmental or human influence
  • Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
  • Follow safety guidelines and regulations
  • Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
  • Prepare and allocate budgets
  • Prioritize, track, and report on several projects at one time
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, designers, and project managers to coordinate programs and projects
  • Ensure employees are properly trained and follow all safety requirements
Required Qualifications
  • BS/MS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Licensei>
  • 8+ years’ experience as a Structural Engineer with and emphasis in concrete and steel
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
  • Proficient with relevant design software and computer analysis software (Autodesk products)
  • Proficient with writing and editing specifications and technical reports
  • Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
  • Good communication ability (both written and verbal); English proficiency
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient in the use of Office suite software
  • Work collaboratively on multiple projects
