Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Build positive team member relations.
  • Participates and conducts departmental meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests. 
  • Create and deliver comprehensive training programs covering all aspects of table games
  • Supervise trainees at practice tables, providing feedback on their dealing skills, game management, and adherence to casino policies
  • Educate trainees on all applicable gaming regulations, including responsible gaming practices, anti-money laundering procedures, and player protection protocol
  • Ensure training programs are in accordance with the Internal Controls
  • Works in coordination with the Director of Casino Operations and Casino Shift managers at both properties to evaluate, and when necessary, revise, current Internal Controls
  • Responsible for all attendance and performance tracking for Dealer Trainees.
  • Assist and participate in Job Fairs, recruiting, the interview process and new hire orientation
  • Monitors new and existing dealers in the pit to ensure proper dealing procedures are being followed. Provides retraining as necessary and needed
  • Provides administrative support to Casino Operations
  • Reports to director of Casino Operations and /or Table Games Manager
  • Creates a thorough, comprehensive syllabus for each table game
  • Creates a thorough, comprehensive training manual that includes sequential training lessons to be taught
  • Communicates and reports pertinent information and safety concerns in a timely manner to senior leadership.

Perform other duties as assigned

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS:

  • The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
  • This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures. Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
  • Frequent: standing, walking, reaching, and with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and hands
  • Occasional: sitting, kneeling, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 15 pounds
  • Speech and Vision abilities are required.
