Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our team as a Casino Field Assistant. As a Field Assistant, you will be responsible for covering for the manager during their absence due to vacation or extended sick leave. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our locations and providing support in various areas, including communication management, compliance checks, facilities maintenance, and training. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to build professional relationships with managers and team members.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the point of contact and handle matters in the absence of the direct manager as directed

- Develop and maintain professional relationships with managers throughout locations to support the achievement of the location’s goals

- Assist managers in controlling overtime and managing work shifts

- Contribute to the organization and execution of parties and events

- Handle collection processes proficiently in a casino setting

- Obtain required certifications, including guard and cashier certification, Responsible Vendor and ABO certification, among others

- Provide onsite training to new managers, cashiers, guards, and collectors

- Assist with surveillance activities, compliance checks, incident report inquiries, and theft investigations

- Support managers in facilities maintenance, including the utilization of facilities maintenance systems, creating, and responding to work orders and communication, and researching and submitting purchase orders as directed

- Conduct compliance checks, credential checks, site evaluation issues, blue book checks, and monitor uniform requirements

- Assist with supply delivery from office/vendors as needed

- Other task assigned by manager

- Position will require 90% travel

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and take initiative

- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus

- Familiarity with casino operations and processes is preferred

- Must be able to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses
