Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN requiring a minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience and active TX or compact RN license for a hospital in Frisco, TX.

Details
  • Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
  • 98-bed facility with a Cath Lab team of 8 including RNs, techs, and a shared RN
  • Uses Philips, GE, Pyxis, and MacLab equipment
  • Meditech EMR system used
  • Monday-Friday schedule, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Call requirements of 11-13 days per month including 2 weekends per month
  • Call coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday where applicable
Requirements
  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab experience required
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently required
  • MacLab monitoring experience preferred (training available)
  • Circulating EP procedure experience preferred (training available)
  • US SSN and DOB required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

  • Perform procedures including cardiac caths, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, PVS, EP ablations, and PE/DVT thrombectomies
  • Administer Lexiscan injections for NucMed stress tests
  • Join a laid-back, drama-free team known for a supportive and collaborative environment
  • Best fit for candidates who are flexible, patient, supportive, and take initiative
  • Department operates at a slower pace with occasional busy days and infrequent call-ins
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility - no local candidates accepted
