R&D Trainee/Apprentice/VIE

Valeo Powertrain Systems in Czechowice-Dziedzice deals with the production of starters, air throttles, and exhaust gas recirculation valves (EGR) as well as innovative electric generators for hybrid vehicles, and the regeneration of alternators, starters, dual mass flywheels, and compressors for automotive air conditioning. Valeo Powertrain Systems in Czechowice-Dziedzice also has a modern research and development center that provides innovative production solutions.

We are currently recruiting for the position of Intern in the R&D Design Office at the Valeo Powertrain Systems Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice. Your tasks will include:

  • Supporting processes related to the development of new products and their components in various development phases (concept, modeling, technical drawing);
  • Participating in research, analysis, and verification of new products and their manufacturing processes;
  • Analyzing the results of experiments or tests, drawing conclusions, and proposing corrective actions and design solutions;
  • Administrative work related to the implementation of new or improvement of existing analytical methods, verification, and testing;
  • Contact and cooperation with design teams, other company departments, and external suppliers of parts;
  • Participating in training and workshops;

  • You are a graduate or current student of technical fields (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering and Machine Building, Biomedical Engineering);
  • You are communicative, able to work in a team, and open to new experiences;
  • Your strong points are independence, accuracy, and logical thinking;
  • You have a good knowledge of the English language, enabling free communication (B1/B2);
  • You are available 5 days a week;

Additional advantages will be:

  • International experience (foreign schools or studies, exchanges; school or student, cultural exchange programs, etc.);
  • Knowledge of technical drawing;
  • Knowledge of dimensioning;
  • Knowledge of design support programs (Catia V5, NX, Ansys, Inventor, Solid Works, etc.);
  • Strong foundations in part design;
