Job #: 148308 Title: Propulsion Engineer 4 Location: Everett, WA Salary Range: 68.33 Position: Propulsion Engineer Description:
ENG- Perform propulsion installations analysis supporting aircraft development, qualification, certification, and production programs. Lead technical activities related to propulsion system integration, certification compliance, requirements management, and test planning. Coordinate with engine manufacturers, regulatory agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution and airworthiness certification.

#Education & Job Requirements

*Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of related experience, Master's degree and 7+ years of related experience, or PhD and 4+ years of related experience
*Experience leading complex engineering projects
*Experience supporting aircraft development programs
*Experience performing propulsion installations analysis
*Experience supporting FAA or EASA certification activities
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks supporting critical program milestones
*Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
*Able to professionally represent the company when interacting with suppliers and regulatory authorities
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

*DAE experience
*Experience serving as a technical reviewer or subject matter expert
*Experience generating certification documentation and compliance data
*Knowledge of propulsion system installation requirements and airworthiness standards

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform propulsion installations analysis in support of aircraft development and certification programs
*Support qualification and certification activities for aircraft propulsion systems
*Analyze fire safety, component cooling, fuel heating, oil cooling, and engine starting systems
*Lead requirements definition, validation, and verification activities
*Generate certification data supporting FAA and EASA compliance requirements
*Review and approve technical materials, engineering documents, and presentations
*Draft test plans supporting component-level and engine-to-aircraft integration testing
*Evaluate test results and compliance data to demonstrate airworthiness requirements
*Coordinate technical activities with engine manufacturers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
*Collaborate with GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, and other propulsion partners
*Develop and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking metrics
*Provide project status updates and technical briefings to Integrated Product Team leadership
*Support continuous improvement of propulsion analysis processes and certification activities
