Job DescriptionAHRC New York City is seeking a full-time Employment Skills Instructor to support young adults with disabilities as they build workplace readiness and develop vocational skills through hands-on internship rotations.
Compensation Package: $50,000 per year plus a very generous and comprehensive Benefit Package. See additional Benefit information below.
Under the direction of the Program Director/ Program Coordinator, the Skills Instructor makes an active and organized effort to maximize each participant’s development and well-being by implementing individualized program plans, integrating the services received, and recording ongoing progress. The program assesses, trains and places individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities.
