Job Summary

As an Assistant Station Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring efficient transportation operations, on-time service, and top-tier customer satisfaction. You will assist in overseeing daily operations, staffing, compliance, and safety initiatives, all while fostering a positive and accountable work culture. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support station team members to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable day-to-day operations in a 24/7 transportation environment.
  • Oversee transportation operations across one or more locations, ensuring on-time service, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service for airline partners.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing, scheduling, attendance, overtime, and performance to meet operational demands while maintaining compliance with company policies and labor guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement by ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, airport requirements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations and address performance concerns through coaching and corrective action, as appropriate.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and service levels, proactively identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to vehicle inspections and maintenance, scheduling, licensing, regulatory compliance, incidents, and operational reporting.
Requirements:
  •  Two (2) to three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience in transportation, aviation, logistics, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced, service-oriented environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for achieving operational and service goals.
  • Ability to support a 24/7/365 operation, including flexibility to workdays, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and respond to operational needs as required.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 75 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet the Company's motor vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements. 
  • Ability to regularly report to and support operations within the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) market.
