ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
  • Develops procedures for office activities, such as filling, records maintenance, typing, word processing, faxing, and mail distribution.
  • May also be responsible for the maintenance of office equipment and supplies.
  • Hire and train office staff.
  • Conducts performance evaluations for staff members.
  • Ensure adherence to all laws and regulations regarding employment, affirmative action, safety, drugs, and medical waste disposal.
  • Ensure that patient records are accurate and complete, and that patient confidentiality is strictly maintained.
  • Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Maintains employee time cards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Typically requires 5 years of customer service experience and 3 years of management experience.
