Job Title: Cast Member-Santa

Reports To: Special Events Coordinator 

Type of position: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Employee Classification: Part Time-Seasonal

Pay Range: $20-25

Location: Durango, CO

Position Summary

Santa for The Polar Express Train RideTM is the pinnacle character in the show. With multiple stations a night, Santas will greet passengers as they pull into the North Pole, pass out silver bells to all passengers aboard, and even be stationed in our museum for after experience photo ops.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bring Christmas joy to all passengers aboard The Polar Express Train RideTM
  • Recite scripted lines provided
  • Play The Polar Express Train RideTM brand Santa

Qualifications

  • Must be able to talk to crowds of up to 50 people
  • Acting experience preferred but required
  • Must be able to balance and travel between moving train cars
  • Will be Required to work in inclement winter weather, as needed
  • Will be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays
