Rental Coordinator

Job Summary
The Rental Coordinator position is responsible for running a safe, clean and organized trailer rental yard that projects a positive environment to our customers and employees. These activities may include, but are not limited to, opening and closing rental contracts, reservations, and new account applications, controlling and tracking inventory, assigning equipment, dispatching drivers and maintaining documents and records.
Essential Functions
  • Work with customers and sales team to coordinate the rental of equipment
  • Create and execute rental contracts
  • Invoice new and recurring rentals
  • Create and execute rental-purchase agreements
  • Maintain accurate fleet information
  • Provide clerical support, such as, answering phones and processing paperwork
  • Maintain customer account information
  • Schedule and coordinate for pick-up and delivery of rental equipment
  • Educate customers on equipment specifications, safety concerns, and proper use of equipment
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work with no direct supervision
  • Some industry-related experience preferred
