Job Summary:
We are seeking a Trailer Mechanic to join our team at our Edgerton, KS location. This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on trailers and containers including brakes, suspension systems, tires, and more. This is a 1st shift position, working the hours of Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm. Overtime opportunities are available based on the business needs of the shop.
Trailer Mechanic Duties:
  • Complete repairs on chassis and containers using MIG and stick welding
  • Inspect and repair lights, brakes, suspension, and frames on chassis
  • Repair and replace container floors
  • Mount tires onto chassis
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chassis and containers
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed on equipment in TMW software
  • Other duties as assigned

This Position will Operate out of a Service Truck on TSL property
